Serpent Underground |
Making their mark on the local and national scene, Serpent Underground has been “slithering” in and out of the industry forefront since 2003. Reformed this year with lead guitarist Cody Walker and rhythm guitarist Jason Walker, the band has added a sinister and melodic edge to their already aggressive “in-your-face” sound.
Set for an 2008 release, Serpent Underground has just finished working with producer Juan Urteaga of Trident Studios (A Perfect Circle, Ted Nugent, Exodus) on their second studio album The Lie. This CD features everything Serpent Underground fans have come to expect: dynamic vocals, powerful drum solos, heart-pounding bass and now the addition of Jason and Cody’s dual-layered harmony guitar work.
As they continue their work on The Lie, the members of Serpent Underground remain dedicated to their ever growing fan base by booking shows whenever possible. Serpent Underground remains beyond driven to thrive in this cutthroat market and to share with the world the passion for music that burns from within the darkest corners of their soul.
Achievements
Throughout the years, Serpent Underground has played across America including the Gothstock Festival 2005, the San Diego Fair and were a featured artist at an exclusive party for Skinnie Entertainment Magazine. They have played with numerous national acts such as Dragonforce, Five Finger Death Punch, Asesino, The Dreaming and most recently Powerman 5000. They were first runner up in the 2006 Bodog Battle of the Bands and NitroRocks Ultimate Battle. In 2007 Serpent Underground was nominated in 3 categories for Rock City News’ Rockie Awards. The nominations include:

Cirkus |
Cirkus was formed back in early 2005 when guitarist Snetan met the singer Roux’d. They quickly joined forces with the help of a groovy little bass player named Dee. The well oiled and fast working machine recorded the mini EP/promo "Let the Madness Begin", which was printed up in August 2005. But they knew something was missing until they heard about a bad ass cowboy called Ric who took over the drumming honors.
In January-February 2007 the band completed their first tour in California. The tour consisted of 16 shows in less then a month. During the successful tour, Cirkus became the first band to be broadcasted live on Youtube via the420channel.
Their third promo CD titled “Metal Head” contains the three kick ass rock songs Deceiver, Everlong Lasting and City Slicker, all of them with their own style which shows the diversity of Cirkus. Metal Head is mainly produced by the band members themselves, which shows more and other qualities of the band. Without any doubt, this is Cirkus absolutely finest moment.
Later in the year, Cirkus completed their second tour in California in one year. In September-October the band went across the Atlantic Ocean in order to promote “Metal Head” and do another successful tour, playing both old and new venues and once again playing a show live on Youtube.
The Swedish based group is highly fuelled on energy and they always give their fans more than a 100 percent on stage, basically an amazing show that you will never forget. Tight, well performed and as they say under the big top; Welcome to the show!
